Day 1–3
Amantaka, Buddhist studies, Wat Visoun & Wat Aham, Mount Phousi, Baci ceremony, Lao cooking and Pak Ou Caves
Your journey begins in Luang Prabang, a city in north-central Laos, at Amantaka — a historic residence turned sanctuary of tranquility. At the Center for Buddhist Studies, you'll be introduced to the fundamentals of Buddhism and experience the serenity of ancient philosophy.
A walk through the temples Wat Visoun and Wat Aham, followed by a climb to the top of Mount Phousi, offers breathtaking views and moments of peaceful reflection. Take part in the traditional Baci ceremony, where white threads are tied around your wrists for luck and harmony. Afterwards, a traditional Lao massage, practised for centuries, will restore your energy.
A morning visit to the local market with a chef unveils the secrets of Lao cuisine — you'll prepare chicken laap, Or Lam soup, and the dessert khanom krok at the resort's organic farm. Finally, a boat ride on the Mekong River to the sacred Pak Ou Caves, where thousands of Buddha statues reside, completes your introduction to this mystical land.
Day 3–7
Flight to Phnom Penh and transfer to private Six Senses Krabey Island. Jungle, snorkeling, yoga and Khmer rituals
After a flight to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, your journey continues to the private Six Senses Krabey Island. This is more than just a retreat — it's a total immersion in nature and a deep reset of body and mind.
Enjoy jungle treks, snorkeling, yoga to the sound of birdsong, and spa treatments inspired by ancient Khmer healing rituals.
Day 7–10
Phnom Penh to Siem Reap aboard Aqua Mekong. Hidden villages, ancient temples and curated private excursions
Prepare for the most elegant, culturally rich, and historically immersive way to travel from Phnom Penh to Cambodia's cultural heart — Siem Reap. Aboard the Aqua Mekong, your journey along the Mekong River becomes a passage through time.
You'll discover hidden villages and ancient temples, hear stories passed down through generations, and immerse yourself in Cambodia's living heritage. Each day brings curated, private excursions that unveil the natural beauty and cultural depth of Cambodia.
Day 10–13
Sunrise at Angkor Wat. Ta Prohm and Preah Khan. Evening Apsara dance performance
The journey culminates in Siem Reap, at the legendary Angkor Wat temple complex at sunrise. As the light filters through ancient stone, a mystical scene unfolds — serene and otherworldly.
You'll explore Ta Prohm, the iconic jungle temple made famous by Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, where massive tree roots entwine the ruins in a surreal embrace. Then, uncover the secrets of Preah Khan, a lesser-known but profoundly symbolic sanctuary.
The evening concludes with an Apsara dance performance, a sacred Khmer tradition that tells cosmic stories of gods, creation, and the universe.
